It is my belief that the challenges of our time and the emerging systemic and non-systemic risks become manageable with collaboration and an interdisciplinary approach. Civil Protection issues are the subject of preventive planning and preparation for the adaptation and mitigation of their impacts, and technology must be an important aid in early warning and in the short-medium and long-term management phases.
