      • It is necessary to ensure the best possible design results, taking into account the levels of uncertainty due to estimates.<\/span><\/li>

        The Transport Planning and Sustainable Mobility department of Lever Development Consultants S.A. has developed more than four (4) macroscopic traffic models, while it has participated in the formulation of five (5) others, for different sizes of cities in the greek territory.<\/span><\/p>

        Specifically, regarding the formulation of traffic models:<\/span><\/p>

        • Ability to build a multi-modal four-step model (4-step model) for the prediction of travel demand.<\/span><\/li>
        • Design, collection and processing of traffic data,<\/span><\/li>
        • Data utilization in the construction of a traffic model.<\/span><\/li>
        • Design, coordination and supervision of a Travel Characteristics Survey (Origin \u2013 Destination)<\/span><\/li>
        • Design and coordination of a Stated Preferences Survey (building travel distribution equations by mode of transport)<\/span><\/li>
        • Integrating proposed interventions into the traffic model for impact assessment<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          While macroscopic traffic prediction models are essential for strategic transport planning, more specialized studies require a different degree of detail. The department’s executives also have relevant experience in microscopic simulation models of vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian traffic. This specific simulation allows for a more detailed depiction and better understanding of the network’s operation after an intervention.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          Each traffic model is a powerful tool in decision-making processes.
