I have studied publishing management at UCLan (UK) School of Arts and Multimedia, where I specialised in print design and have experience in project management and European project communications, working with international organisations and businesses. My mission is that unified visual design makes every project more accessible and approachable and helps to highlight the quality of services.
As an accountant and economist with many years of experience, I specialize in managing financial data, analyzing financial statements, and developing strategies that enhance business efficiency and profitability. Through my experience, I aim to contribute to the growth and development of the company by providing reliable financial analyses, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic decisions that lead to sustainable business development.
Local development has been a favourite scientific and technical subject since 2005 and an issue that was of great interest to me even before I started my studies [BA Economics & Politics, MBA Strategic Management, PhDc Tourism Management]. When I came across the local development theories of Le Heron, the competition of cities of Begg and Martin, the location theory of McCann, the role of social capital in the development of cities as developed by Italian theorists but also the newer -and more human-centered approaches- of Florida in Rise of the Creative Class and Landry in Creative city but especially in Art of city-making, the interest was transformed into a conscious professional orientation. The most pivotal encounter, however, was to be the one with the Lever ecosystem, when I found myself among people who shared the same interest, the same need to contribute: to make our cities and villages better places to live.
I am an Engineer of Spatial Planning, Urban and Regional Development with a Master's degree in Applied Geography and Spatial Management and Sustainable Urban Planning. My experience in managing and solving all kinds of urban planning issues is based on my many years of experience, both in the private sector as a freelancer and in the public sector as head of the 'City Plan and Urban Planning Applications' department, as well as my involvement in research at the academic level. My role as an external collaborator of public, private and civil society bodies for the conduct of consultations and participatory processes-workshops related to urban planning in Greece and abroad has also contributed to this.
I am a Planning and Development Engineer, with a Master's degree in Planning and Development of Tourism and Culture. At the same time, my academic engagement as a PhD candidate is related to the sonic identity of urban space and the role played by new technologies in it. In the context of my professional activity, I have been involved in public studies of architectural, urban and urban planning, environmental and water supply studies, as well as in research projects on strategic planning and place identity development, on issues of culture and alternative forms of tourism. The above form the appropriate background for a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to the multiple challenges of the area.
