With great success and after 2 years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Samaras & Associates” Group Pie Cutting Event was held in Thessaloniki.
The President of “Samaras & Associates” Group, Dimitris Samaras, began his speech by emphasizing: “Every day like this, when we are all together, the family of our “Samaras & Associates” Group, to exchange wishes and wish a happy new year is, perhaps, one of the most important days of the year for me!
Because on this day, perhaps more than any other, I think about what we have all achieved together, all these years!
And these are many years!
This year we complete 31 years since the beginning of this creative path of ours, this common journey.
Of course, I cannot forget where we started, nor those who have been with us since the beginning of this creative journey, nor of course all those who later became members of our great family, the “Samaras & Associates” Group, that is, all of you who are here today, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Thanks to you, we have succeeded and today we are at the top and we are not only the largest company, the largest Group of Engineers and Consultants in our country, but what is particularly important is that our Group has its base and its strength, not in Athens, but here in Thessaloniki.
Also, what is of great importance is that Athens, the largest companies in our field in Athens, and especially our competitors, not only count on us, but now respect us!
All these years we have achieved a lot.
Referring to the major projects in which the Group participates, he underlined: “In almost all major projects that change the image of our country, but also the lives of citizens, we have a significant contribution, either as designers or supervisors, as technical consultants, security consultants, strategy consultants, financing consultants, and generally by providing a multitude of services through our seven Group companies.
Furthermore, in addition to the largest infrastructure projects that change the image of the country, you know that we participate in various roles and by providing important services to many Ministries, Regions, more than 140 Municipalities throughout the country, in projects financed by the Recovery Fund, by the NSRF or by the PDE and generally by all available financial tools.
Is it a coincidence that we participate in projects such as the Metro, Fraport’s 14 airports, TAP, the Hellinikon mega project, the lignite decarbonization project, the largest energy projects, the recovery fund projects, the ports, the largest business groups in the country, such as HELPE, Motor Oil, Mytilineos, Copelouzos, PPC, DEPA, DEDA, EDA, TITAN, Viohalco and many other groups. Is it a coincidence that we actively participate with all the construction companies in the country, in the largest industries, and that all these projects have our own stamp, your own knowledge and your own participation? It is certainly not a coincidence, nor is it simple.
Everything we have achieved, everything we have managed, and that I have mentioned above, is due to you, it is due to your own efforts, to your own knowledge and to your own experiences.
For your participation, in all the projects that I have mentioned, you must feel very proud, because you are participating essentially, in all this business happening that is taking place around us.
So for everything that you do, I thank you warmly, from the bottom of my heart.
You are the most valuable asset of each of our companies and of the Group in general”
Mr. Samaras concluded by emphasizing: “We are now 410 permanent associates, most of whom are engineers, and approximately 150 external associates. However, we are not only the biggest, only the most, we are also the best in the market. And let me tell you something else, the prospects for us are very good! As I mentioned before, the best is ahead of us, for all of us. I wish, therefore, for all of us, that 2023 will be the best year, in all sectors, that we have health, many happy moments, many successes and many smiles”.
More than 300 executives and associates of the Group attended the event, this year’s lucky winner of the shareholders’ pie was once again the CEO of “Pointers Property Services”, Dimitris Tsokaktsidis, while 7 other lucky winners emerged from among the executives
