We are developing a comprehensive guide for upgrading school courtyards, which includes documenting the current conditions, identifying functional and pedagogical needs, defining design specifications and priorities, detailing interventions based on environmental and aesthetic criteria, as well as creating tools for implementation and evaluation of the outcomes.
ISSUE
There is a need for modern, functional, and pedagogically appropriate design of school courtyards, which are often neglected and unattractive to students.
SOLUTION
With expertise in educational infrastructure design and the application of pedagogical and environmental principles, we implement methodologies for documenting and assessing courtyard spaces, analyze the specific needs of each school, and develop intervention proposals based on functional, aesthetic, and inclusive criteria. We then organize the guide into thematic sections, link interventions with potential funding tools, and deliver practical tools for implementation and monitoring.
