Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of the Municipality of Kalamaria

Phase B of participatory planning – evaluation of alternative mobility scenarios.

The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) of the Municipality of Kalamaria – which is being developed with funding from the Green Fund by the companies “Samaras & Associates S.A. – Consulting Engineers” and Consortis – continues its participatory planning processes to achieve a comprehensive and widely accepted outcome.

The Transport Planning & Sustainable Mobility Department of “Lever – Development Consultants S.A.” – acting as subcontractor for the project – developed the alternative mobility scenarios and supports the Municipality of Kalamaria in the consultation processes with the local community.

Today, Thursday, April 6, stakeholders with technical and transport-related expertise, neighboring municipalities, and chambers of commerce are participating in a workshop to jointly shape and highlight the ideal scenario.

Tomorrow, Friday, April 7, citizen groups and local associations will take part in the event to  contribute to the co-creation process.
