The central focus of the event marking the official launch of the first phase of the Open Mall Florina was the promotion and enhancement of the commercial area of the Open Shopping Center of Florina. This project aims to significantly improve the city’s image and identity, as well as highlight its commercial and business profile. The event took place at the conference hall of the Florina Chamber of Commerce, co-organized by the Florina Chamber and Lever – Development Consultants S.A., member of the Samaras & Partners Group.

The primary vision of this initiative is the creation of a modern, digital, and multi-channel Open Shopping Center (Open Mall) in the city of Florina, featuring new branding, a name, and a logo. The broad presentation of this brand will help position the local market as a youth hub, upgrade the city by showcasing its unique characteristics, and, combined with innovative technological features, create a distinct shopping experience for visitors.

Mr. Savvas Sapalidis, President of the Florina Chamber of Commerce, emphasized:

“An emblematic project for the city of Florina has begun, which will highlight the city and boost entrepreneurship and visitor attraction, both from the Florina regional unit and neighboring countries for which Florina is a gateway. The project will be completed soon, as other necessary implementation procedures are already underway. This project will modernize the Florina Market and increase employment and tourism in our city, with many subsequent benefits for citizens and society.”

Mr. Vasileios Blesios, Marketing Director of Lever – Development Consultants S.A., presented the new Open Mall Marketing plan for Florina and analyzed its success factors, stating:

“Our company has the experience and expertise in designing and implementing Open Mall Marketing projects, having successfully executed similar projects in Athens (Agora Athens) and in 10 other major Greek cities. We have redesigned city center markets, providing new branding, digitization, and multi-channel marketing.”

The event was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Culture of the Municipality of Florina, Ms. Sofia Foudouli, the Deputy Mayor of Entrepreneurship, Mr. Nikos Grigoriadis, and the President of the local community of Florina, Mr. Konstantinos Roz
